1) Scan in the picture off a printed page or photo. Then copy it. You can also make a copy of a picture from a CD ROM or other file on the hard drive.
2) Paste this file into the text file where you want it located, before Proportionalizing the file.
Math equations can be scanned in as a black and white line drawings and treated as a graphic just like pictures. This way math formulas can be read just like regular text without any retyping. Scanning math formulas in as a line drawing uses almost no extra memory. Scanning them in as pictures uses a tremendous amount of memory.
